Co-founder & Managing Director of Kaodim Sdn Bhd Jeff is the co-founder and Managing Director of the Kaodim Group, the leading marketplace to hire service providers from plumbers to pet groomers in Southeast Asia. The Kaodim group is slightly more than a year old and has announced funding of US$4.55 million from prominent international investors including Venturra Capital, 500 Startups and East Ventures. Previously, Jeff was a litigation lawyer with a leading international law firm, Baker & McKenzie. He litigated on a number of patent, trademark, copyright and passing off disputes at all court levels, from the High Court to the Federal Court. Together with his co-founder Fui-Yu, Jeff has grown the Kaodim group from a 2 man team to over 70 people with operations in Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia and a mission to cement its position as the #1 services marketplace in Southeast Asia. Jeff shares what being an entrepreneur means to him and how he built a business out of a house into a multi million dollar company across Southeast Asia. |
